Music of Persecuted Composers

The third installment of the series of musical stops for the exhibition project Sacred Art in Unholy Times. Irena Troupová, a leading Czech soprano of international renown, will present, accompanied by Jan Dušek on the piano, works by composers such as Pavel Haas, Viktor Ullmann, Ervin Schulhoff and Hans Winterberg, whose lives and works were cruelly marked or even ended by Nazi racial persecution.
